Dimensional Calibration
We offer the complete dimensional measurement service ranging from a full U.K.A.S. dimensional measurement service at our laboratory here in Jarrow to an "on-site" calibration and measurement service which include surface plates.

Through a sustained investment programme we at Tyneside Standards Ltd have what we believe to be the best equipped laboratory in the North East of England.

We utilise a matched pair of Carl Zeiss Jena 01-600-C universal length measuring machines complete with a full accessory pack and linked to G.T. Manager 5500 software.

These measuring machines, capable of measuring to 0.000lmm, are used to measure thread gauging, plug gauges, ring gauges, cylinders, micrometer spindle traverse and a wide range of other dimensional measurements.

Our specialisation is thread gauging where we offer a unique service being the only calibration laboratory in the North East accredited to measure new thread gauging. This is due to the fact we have the equipment to measure the pitch and flank angle of threads where the other laboratories in the area do not.

Threads are our forte - but our U.K.A.S. schedule covers a vast array of other equipment used everyday in industry and service areas.
