Tyneside Standards Ltd was formed as a company in 1995. The company was awarded U.K.A.S. Accreditation to EN 45001 in 1997 in the mechanical dimensional field. Following a M.B.O. in 1998 we embarked on an extensive expansion programme which would allow us to fulfil the requirements of our ever increasing customer base. |

In 1999 Tyneside Standards Ltd moved into the Tedco Business Centre which offered larger premises and greater security. In January 2000 we opened up an Electrical Laboratory and installed the equipment required to calibrate an extensive range of electrical instrumentation. By November 2000 we were ready to be assessed once again by U.K.A.S. this time in the electrical field. We achieved U.K.A.S. accreditation in the electrical field in January 2001 when we also had our mechanical schedule increased to cover surface plates! |

We have implemented and continue to manage quality systems on various customer sites utilising our gauge management systems that are widely used in the aerospace and automotive industry.
Diversification is one of our main attributes and to further enhance our range of services we offer mechanical inspection on a range of products from aerospace components to measurement surveys on pipelines.
